Resonance, engineered.

A Los Angeles–based studio for original score, brand sonic identity, and immersive audio environments. Founded by Roger Lima.

§ 01 / The Studio

WHITE NOISE LAB.

WHITE NOISE LAB is led by composer and sonic architect Roger Lima. The work spans Netflix and Paramount+ series, theatrical movie trailers, and brand campaigns for Sotheby's, Hyundai, Under Armour, CNN, and TEDx. Original intros, interludes, and SFX composed for artists including Megadeth and Angra.

Genre is the wrapper. Intent is the work.

Based in Los Angeles. Available worldwide.

§ 02 / Approach

Audio is architecture. The work begins at the foundation.

The LAB works across the full audio chain: composition, sound design, mix, edit, and master. Some projects are led from a score. Some are led from a sound. Some are led from silence.

Music is one instrument. Sound design is another. Mix and edit are architecture too. We treat them as parallel entry points into the same discipline.

This is a collaborative practice. The work begins in conversation with directors, brands, and creative teams, and arrives at audio that is original, specific, and load-bearing. The intended listener is the target. The work is for them, not the room.

I.
Originality
No library cues. Every frame, every brand cue, every sonic gesture, original music composition, built from first principles.
II.
Specificity
Sonic identities that couldn't belong to anyone else. Mnemonics engineered to fire on recall.
III.
Immersion
Spatial audio, original music composition for installations, and environments built for headsets, rooms, and rooms full of people.
IV.
Convergence
Generative tools, AI, and adaptive processes in the workflow. The work is signed by a person.

"We construct the conditions for an audience to feel a specific state."
